Terms of Service
Last updated 22 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of Vorra Review (the "Service"), provided by Vorra ("we", "us"). By signing in, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
What the Service does
Vorra Review lets people Vorra has invited preview videos, leave timecoded comments, and share feedback. Videos that workspace admins upload are stored in Vorra's storage (Firebase Storage) and streamed to you through short-lived signed URLs; access to a specific video is controlled by the per-video viewer list a workspace admin sets. Admins may also connect external storage folders (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Box), which are search-only: their files surface in the library search and link out to the provider's own interface — their contents are never proxied through Vorra.
Your account
- You sign in with an email-link sent to the address Vorra shared videos with.
- You are responsible for keeping your email account secure. Anyone who can read your email can sign in.
- Use the Service only as the person whose email is on the account — don't share access.
Acceptable use
When you use the Service, you agree not to:
- Download, re-upload, or redistribute videos outside of what Vorra has authorised.
- Try to access videos or comments that haven't been shared with you.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Post comments that are unlawful, defamatory, or harassing.
- Use the Service to violate anyone's intellectual property rights.
- Upload, or connect external folders containing, content you do not own or otherwise have the rights to use. Workspace admins are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to any video they upload and to any external folder they connect.
External storage connections are search-only: Vorra surfaces file metadata and links out to the provider, and never copies, caches, or redistributes the contents of connected files.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time if these rules are broken.
Content ownership
Videos
Videos belong to Vorra or to Vorra's clients. The Service grants you a limited, non-transferable right to view the videos shared with you for the purpose of review and feedback. It does not give you any ownership or further licence.
Your comments
You own the comments you write. By posting a comment you grant Vorra a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and act on it for the purpose of running the Service and using your feedback.
Availability and changes
We try to keep the Service available but we don't guarantee uptime. We may add, remove, or change features at any time, and may suspend the Service for maintenance.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may end your access if you break these Terms or if the underlying engagement with Vorra ends. On termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) will survive.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vorra is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to ZAR 1,000.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Vorra against claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be brought in the courts of South Africa.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
